My neighbors complained that I'm too involved and said I need to relax. I'm taking a six month leadership training course which currently takes up a lot of my schedule, I have work and I have to make sure the Queen at home is taken care of as well. Throw in some personal time for me and I suppose you could say I have a lot going on.
The thing is most sucessful design professionals are experiential types. They learn by doing and experiencing as much of life as possible. It's the thing that gives their work a creative edge and taking on as much of life as possible is something I'm personally quite interested in. Otherwise, you wake up at age 65 looking like my neighbor.
